It's official. Today is my last day in Miami, let alone the USA, till August.
I'm about to embark on 5 weeks of study abroad ridiculousness in Spain and then 2 weeks of travel.
Wait, Did I mention the World Cup is going on while I'll be in Spain?
As I was reading my pamphlet for "What to Expect" in Spain this caught my attention big time:
"Spanish food is not to be confused with Mexican food. To many people’s surprise, it is quite different. The tortilla in Spain is actually an omelette with potatoes."

I feel like I have been trying to tell people in Columbus this FOREVER. I don't like spicy food and when people look at me and say, What? Why? I thought you were hispanic.. I want to smack them and say YEAH, but I'm not Mexican. Latin American food is NOT spicy. Ohhh Midwest people, so obsessed with Chipotle.
Don't get me wrong, I love chips & salsa... Only if it's mild though.
Anyway, bye America! I'll be missing you, especially tv. People please don't spoil what's happening on True Blood for me.
